宛新华,男,安徽寿县人,1964年出生,现任北京大学化学学院高分子科学与工程系系主任。1981.9~1985.7 合肥工业大学化学工程系学士学习;1985.9~1988.2 东华大学化学纤维工程系硕士学习;1988.3~1991.8 中国纺织大学化学纤维工程系博士学习;1993年8月获得北京大学化学系博士后学位。

可控自由基聚合反应,液晶高分子,光学活性高分子,刚柔嵌段共聚物/低聚物的多层次自组装,具有控制结构、确定形状的高分子的合成及功能化。
