阿兰·本奈特，1934年5月9日出生于英国，演员、编剧、制片、导演。代表作品有《年轻的来访者》、《爱情与战争》、《高校男生》以及《住货车的女士》等。

阿兰·本奈特（Alan Bennett）是一名英国剧作家，出生于英国利兹。在服兵役期间他在英国军方设立的联合服务语言学校学习俄语，随后得到了剑桥大学的录取，但他因希望跟暗恋对象同校而转而申请牛津大学。从牛津大学历史系取得一等荣誉毕业后，他留校教授了几年中世纪史，随后离校开始职业编剧生涯。他曾凭《疯狂的乔治王》获奥斯卡最佳改编剧本奖提名，其他著名的作品包括《历史系男生》、《货车里的女人》等。他于1988年拒绝了大英帝国勋章，于1996年拒绝了封爵。

2020年6月23日，担任编剧电影《新喋喋人生》上映。

2022年9月10日，担任编剧的电影《哈利路亚》在多伦多电影节上映，并将于2023年3月17日在英国上映。
