研究领域涉及低铂及非铂催化剂、锂插入化合物和电化学治理微量有机化合物污染的废水。在锂插入化合物及催化剂的成份设计、电化学性能及与微观结构关系方面做过大量的研究工作,主持或参与完成了国家自然科学基金、国家科技部八六三、九七三和省部级项目的研究,同时,致力于材料基础理论在工程实际中的应用。
从事材料物理化学及环境电化学基础研究工作。

研究方向
直接甲醇燃料电池催化剂研究,二次锂离子电池电极材料研究,水中微量有机物的电化学处理。承担“物理化学”、“无机化学”、“理论电化学”等5门本科生和研究生课程的教学任务,获得两项教学奖;主持和参加“十五”八六三项目、国家自然科学基金、北京市自然科学基金等课题的研究工作。先后在“化学学报”、“中国稀土学报”及“Sensors and Actuators”等上发表论文40余篇,并获美国科学发明专利一项。1998年入选北京市科技新星培养计划。
