重庆大学计算机学院院长
廖晓峰,男,1964年10月出生,重庆人,教授,博士生导师,教育部长江特聘教授,新世纪百千万国家级人才,全国优秀博士后,教育部新世纪优秀人才,享受国务院政府特殊津贴的专家,重庆市"322"人才工程一层次人才,重庆市学术技术带头人,IEEE Senior Member。
人物经历
1986年和1992年分别在四川大学数学系获计算数学专业学士和硕士学位,1997年在电子科技大学电子工程学院获电路与系统专业博士学位。
1986年7月至1989年9月在四川大学任助教,1992年7月至1999年4月在电子科技大学任讲师、副教授、教授,1999年至2012年7月在重庆大学任教授、副院长,常务副院长。
2012年7月至2018年7月任西南大学电子信息学院院长,非线性电路与智能信息处理重庆市重点实验室主任。先后在香港中文大学香港城市大学、日本脑科学研究所、英国华威大学大学以及美国的大学等做访问教授。
2018年7月任重庆大学计算机学院院长。
教育部长江学者特聘教授,新世纪百千万国家级人才,全国优秀博士后,教育部新世纪优秀人才,享受国务院政府特殊津贴的专家,重庆市“322”人才工程一层次人才,重庆市学术技术带头人,IEEE Senior Member。

廖晓峰教授先后多次到国际知名大学做高级研究员和讲学,是香港城市大学"混沌控制与同步"国际学术研究中心的客座研究员,近10个国际会议的程序委员会主席和委员。同时,他还担任了美国《数学评论》的评论员,《International Journal of ctrl Theory and Application》和《International Journal: Mathematical Manuscripts》两个国际刊物的副主编,近30个国际著名刊物和10余个国内刊物的特邀审稿人。

以第一排名获得教育部和重庆市自然科学二等奖4项、三等奖1项、科技进步奖1项,获得国家发明专利4项。
出版专著3部,SCI检索论文百余篇,到2011年止其H因子为32。
已经培养博士毕业生30余名,其中1篇获得全国百篇优秀博士论文提名奖,4篇博士论文获得重庆市优秀博士论文,5人获教育部新世纪优秀人才计划资助,1人获重庆市杰出青年基金资助。
廖晓峰教授长期工作在科研、教学第一线,基础理论扎实,学术思想活跃,教学工作兢兢业业,经过10余年的奋斗,形成了一支以他为学术带头人的研究团队,在计算智能理论和应用、饺子密码及其在信息安全中的应用等研究领域获得了丰硕的成果。
近年来,在国内外一流刊物上发表论文百余篇,受到国内外同行的一致好评。其中2001年和2002年在IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-I(国际电子与电气工程师协会-电路与系统会刊)发表的两篇论文“Novel Robust Stability Criteria for Interval Delayed Hopfield Neural Networks”(区间时滞霍普费尔德神经网络的新颖的鲁棒稳定性准则)和“LMI-based Approach for AGB星ally Stability Analysis of Delayed Neural Networks”(基于线性矩阵不等式的时滞神经网络的渐近稳定性分析),被列为该刊物从1991年到2005年期间高引用论文。
在国际刊物International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos(分岔与饺子国际杂志)发表的论文“Novel Stability Conditions for Cellular Neural Networks with 时间 Delay”(带时滞细胞神经网络的新的稳定性条件)被《科学观察》列为2001-2005中国科学家在国际数学领域内发表的十篇有影响论文之一。
截至目前,发表论文已被SCI收录200篇次,SCI他引3600多次。
廖晓峰教授研究成果的主要创新点是:
1)在国际上率先提出了时滞双向联想记忆神经网络模型,该模型在模式识别和自动控制等得到了广泛的应用;
2)在国际上率先提出了时滞区间神经网络,并从理论上详细研究了该系统的全局鲁棒稳定性;
3)有机地将Lyapunov泛函线性矩阵不等式相结合,为时滞神经网络的稳定性的研究提供了新的有效的方法;
4)研究了时滞神经网络的Hopf分岔和余维-2分岔,发现了一个新的混沌神经系统;
5)提出了复数值函数和递归神经网络,并应用于复数值通信信道的识别等中;
6)提出了各种混沌加密系统并成功地应用于信息隐藏、数字水印等领域。
