陈小明
中国科学院院士
陈小明,1961年10月5日出生于广东省揭阳市无机化学家,中国科学院院士,生物无机与合成化学教育部重点实验室(中山大学)主任。曾在加利福尼亚大学圣迭戈分校作访问学者。
1983年于中山大学化学系学士,1986年于中山大学化学系获硕士学位,1992年于香港中文大学化学系获博士学位(导师麦松威教授)后回到中山大学工作。1993年12月晋升副教授,1994年12月破格晋升教授,1996年7月被遴选为无机化学的博士生导师。1997年陈小明入选国家“百千万”人才工程97年度第一、二层次人选。1999年被教育部聘为长江学者奖励计划特聘教授。2006年陈小明担任生物无机与合成化学教育部重点实验室主任。2009年12月当选中原地区科学院院士。2013年当选为发展中国家科学院院士院士。2022年,陈小明担任化学与精细化工广东省实验室主任。曾担任中山大学化学与化学工程学院院长,现任温州市“双碳”科创港建设战略专家咨询委员会委员。
陈小明主要从事配位化合物超分子化学晶体工程领域的研究。

1986年至1989年,在中山医科大学生物化学教研室工作,历任助教、讲师。
1992年7月,在中山大学化学与化学工程学院工作,副教授(1993年12月晋升)、教授(1995年1月晋升)。
2000年至2004年,长江学者特聘教授。
2006年,担任生物无机化合物与合成化学教育部重点实验室主任。曾担任中山大学化学与化学工程学院院长。
2009年,陈小明当选为中国科学院院士。
2013年10月,当选为发展中国家科学院院士;同年,加入巨轮智能装备股份有限公司创新团队,建立广东省巨轮股份化学材料与技术院士工作站。
2023年3月,陈小明担任中山大学理学部副主任。
社会任职
作为第一完成人获国家自然科学奖二等奖一项和广东省自然科学奖一等奖两项,并先后获得香港求是科技基金会“杰出青年学者奖”、第五届“中国青年科技奖”,以及教育部“全国优秀教师”等个人奖励。

主要成就
科研成果
他主要从事功能金属配位化合物和聚合金属配合物超分子体系的分子设计、合成和结构与性能研究。目前已取得的主要研究成果有三个方面:
(1)1992年起,开展“金属酶活性中心构的小分子模拟”的研究,取得具有特色的进展,合成了多种金属酶活性中心结构的新型模型化合物并进行深入的结构与催化性质研究。
(2)1994年起,开展了“具有光电子性能的簇合物与聚合物研究”,创立合成含铜与其它金属的异多核配合物的独特方法,设计和组装新型异多核金属配合物,在复杂异多核金属配合物的分子设计与合成方面取得新的突破,成功建立起系列铜-稀土18核簇合物及其它铜-稀土异多核配合物的新颖制备方法,开展复杂金属配合物体系的磁性及光电性质研究,为异金属功能配位化合物在分子光电器件中的应用研究提供了新的基础。
(3)成功利用桥连配体与金属离子作为模块组装了大量的、具有不同框架结构的聚合金属配合物,并通过超分子作用等调控聚合物的框架结构,获得系列具有新颖结构和发光功能等功能的新型有机—金属聚合物,为此类新型无机化合物—有机杂化材料的研制提出新的研究思路和方向。
1993年以来,主持包括国家杰出青年科学基金和国家基金重点项目等10多项国家和省部级科学基金课题。迄今在国内外学术杂志上发表学术论文230多篇,其中在包括国际第一流的化学杂志《JACS》、德国《应用化学》、《欧洲化学》等知名学术刊物发表200多篇。部分论文已被同行在国际性学术杂志上引证1160多次。根据国家科委情报中心的统计,1996年陈小明在国际上发表(《SCI》收录)的论文居全国个人排行榜第五位,1997年国际论文被引用篇数全国个人排位第三名。1999年国际论文被引用篇数全国个人排位第三名。曾应邀在13次国际性和17次全国性学术会议上作邀请报告。在教学方面,他曾讲授《结构化学》、《波谱化学》、《X射线单晶结构分析》和《金属配合物的现代研究方法》、《现代无机化学》、《配位化学》等本科生、研究生课程。指导博士后、博士生、硕士生等的科研工作,其中7名博士生和6名硕士生已毕业并获得相应学位。他指导的一名博士生的学位论文被评为“全国优秀博士论文”(2001年)。2010年,陈小明指导博士生程小宁的学位论文被提名为全国优秀博士论文。
