周科朝
中南大学原党委常委、副校长
周科朝,男,汉族,1962年12月出生,湖南衡阳人。1998年11月加入中国共产党,1982年7月参加工作。中南矿冶学院粉末冶金研究所材料学专业博士研究生毕业,工学博士、教授、博士生导师。曾任中南大学党委常委、副校长。一直从事粉末冶金新材料及近净成形技术、高性能金属结构材料和纳米研究。
人物经历
1978年9月至1982年7月湖南师范大学物理系物理专业本科学习;
1986年9月至1989年7月北京科技大学应用物理系固体物理专业硕士研究生学习;
1994年9月至1998年5月中南工业大学粉末冶金研究所材料学专业博士研究生学习。
1989年10月晋升讲师,1996年9月晋升副教授,1999年9月晋升研究员。
1999年4月任中南矿冶学院科技处副处长。
2000年12月任中南大学科技处副处长。
2004年10月至2005年9月英国伯明翰大学高级访问学者。
2005年11月任科技处处长。
2010年4月至2022年1月任中南大学党委常委,副校长。
2022年1月16日,免去周科朝同志的中南大学党委常委、委员、副校长职务。
