北京理工大学物理学院教授。

科研领域
多年来一直致力于光子晶体和低维纳米结构的物理特性及其应用研究,并作出了多项创新成果。
主要贡献
首次在光子准晶中观察到了负折射现象,并在国际上率先利用二维光子晶体超棱镜实现了对两种极化波的同时聚集成像。通过严格数值模拟首先在声子晶体中观察到负折射现象,并发现了自旋子的负折射。在无序
动力学中率先从理论上揭示出准一维到三维的动力学交叉行为,后被实验所证实。发展出了在强局域化中分析弱局域化的统一理论。提出了利用带边场"工程"光子带隙的办法,并被实验证实。在12重准晶中发现了大的绝对光子带隙,率先在铁磁藕合双结中发现超过90%的巨隧穿磁
电阻。已在国内外核心期刊上发表论文60余篇,其中有34篇发表在Phys.Rev.Lett、Appl.Phys.Lett.和Phys.Rev.三个期刊上。论文被SCI引用近500次,其中被他人引用超过350次,单篇他人最高引用达到100次。
