《法之书》是由二十世纪最伟大的魔法师爱德华·亚历山大（亚雷斯塔·克劳利）所着的一本以奇特文法所写成的魔道书，《法之书》的原典目前收藏在罗马正教的梵蒂冈图书馆内。

《法之书》，是就连收藏了十万三千本魔道书的茵蒂克丝也无法解读的禁书。在9月8日的奥索拉夺还事件中，罗马正教阴谋败露，雅妮丝部队被上条当麻、史提尔以及天草式宗人合力击破。根据记载，他说是一个叫“爱华斯”（Aiwass）的秘界领袖在开罗向他传授的，这个口授笔录的过程共历三小时，每日由中午十二时开始，准一时完结，共三日，时为1904年的4月。

《法之书》，就连收藏了十万三千本魔道书的 茵蒂克丝也无法解读的禁书。根据禁书目录的说法，以目前现有的语言学知识根本不可能解读这本书。所以，她只能将尚未解读的《法之书》暗号文章 囫囵吞枣地背进脑袋里。《法之书》中最重要的概念，在于作者本人所说过的一句话：『为汝所欲为，即为汝之法』（封面上除了标题外的一行英文），但除此之外的细节，则没有人知道。

《法之书》中的内容相当珍贵，只要能够成功解读，就可以获得极为强大的力量。据说《法之书》中所记载的术式实在太过强大，一旦施展出来，如今这个由十字教所支配的世界将会面临末日。甚至有一派说法，是读过这本书的人，连超越人类极限的天使术式都可以运用自如。据说每次当克劳利陷入无法抉择的窘境时，就会用《法之书》来进行书籍占卜，根据占卜出来的内容来决定该怎么做。换句话说，这是一本可以替全世界最强的 魔法师决定方向的魔道书，相当于曾经掌握近代西洋魔法的历史。

实际上，罗马正教根本不想获得《法之书》这种太过强大的武器，他们想要的是征服世界的武器，而不是毁灭世界的武器。因此当罗马正教修女 奥索拉·阿奎纳宣称获得《法之书》的解读法后，决定暗中将唯一有可能获得《法之书》力量的奥索拉加以抹除。奥索拉由于觉察到了自己的危险处境，只身前往 日本并得到了「天草式十字凄教」帮助的承诺。与此同时，罗马正教以举办国际展览会为名，将假《法之书》送到了日本的博物馆中展览，并导演一出《法之书》被抢和奥索拉被劫持的假戏，并派出雅妮丝部队名为寻找失踪的奥索拉实为杀死奥索拉。在9月8日的奥索拉夺还事件中，罗马正教阴谋败露，雅妮丝部队被 上条当麻、史提尔以及天草式宗人合力击破。

最终经茵蒂克丝的证实，实际上奥索拉得出的《法之书》解读法是错误的。正如茵蒂克丝所说：《法之书》最可怕的地方就在于解读法有超过一百种以上。而且每一种解读法都可以排列出一篇文章，但这些都是假的。《法之书》并非无人能够解读。其实，任何人都可以解读《法之书》，因为会被引诱到错误的解读法上。所谓『为汝所欲为，即为汝之法』，换句话说，就是自己以为是正确答案的解读法，可以为《法之书》创造出无数种『错误解答』。

由英国著名神秘学家、作家、登山家、诗人、瑜珈修行者亚雷斯塔·克劳利写作完成，被称为“将改变几千年宗教命运”的作品而被西方许多国家视为“禁书”。

ordeals in one, and it may be given in three ways. The groѕѕ个 must pass

through fire; let the fine be tried in intellect, and the lofty chosen ones

in the highest. Thus ye have star \u0026 star, system \u0026 system; let not one know

well the other!

51.There are four gates to one palace; the floor of that palace is of silver

and gold; lapis lazuli \u0026 jasper are there; and all rare scents; jaѕmine \u0026

rose, and the emblems of 死亡 Let him enter in 转动 or at once the four

gates; let him stand on the floor of the palace. Will he not sink? Amn. Ho!

warrior, if thy servant sink? But there are means and meanѕ. Be goodly

therefore: dress ye all in fine apparel; eat rich foods and drink sweet wines

and wines that foam! Also, take your fill and will of love as ye will, when,

where and with whom ye will! But always unto me.

Invoke me under my stars! Love is the law, love under will. Nor let the

foolѕ 的mistake love; for there are love and love. There is the dove, and there

is the serpent. Choose ye well! He, my prophet, hath chosen, knowing the law

All these old letters of my Book are aright; but צ is not the Star. This

also is secret: my prophet shall reveal it to the wise.
