环境科学方面的
高性能计算;使用
图形处理器(GPU)以及大规模可编程门阵列(FPGA)等运算架构实现更高效更快速的科学计算;可适用于异构运算环境的编程支持环境;高性能计算结构的系统模拟。

并行计算、性能调优和重新设计策略。
数据挖掘方法:基于科学
数据集的并行数据挖掘方法,利用异构架构加速数据挖掘过程。
编程工具:异构多核架构上大规模应用程序的自动编码技术。
主要贡献
以多维度并行及系统性优化的新方法,高效支持了大气模拟、地震模拟等关键科学应用在国产超算系统上千万核规模的并行,实现了我国在
高性能计算应用领域最高奖“戈登 贝尔”奖上的突破(连续两年蝉联)。带领的平均年龄27岁的超算青年团队,研发了一系列国产应用软件,实现对基础科研及产业创新的良好支撑。
