清华大学电机系高电压与绝缘技术研究所所长,博士生导师。目前主要从事先进电能
传输技术和雷电防护技术、基于纳米技术和MEMS的宽频
传感器网络及大数据分析、基于纳米协同调控理论的绿色环保直流电缆和直流输电管道等领域的研究。

主要成就
科研贡献
何金良的科研成果获国家发明二等奖1项、省部级科技进步奖15项。因在电能传输系统的
雷电防护和接地技术方面杰出贡献,2007年被选为美国电气电子工程师协会会士,2010年被IEEE电磁兼容学会授予技术成就奖,2013年日本电气设备学会授予第6届星野奖,以表彰其在输变电系统的雷电防护及接地技术领域所作出的国际显著成就。
出版中英文专著5部,教材2部。共合作发表各类学术论文400余篇,其中被SCI收录论文约200篇。负责起草5项国家标准、参加起草4项IEC国际标准,负责起草1项CIGRE技术导则。目前作为导师和副导师指导毕业博士生30人,指导毕业工学硕士生24人、工程硕士22人,在研博士生10人、硕士生2人
